Explore our estate wines and enjoy crisp, refreshing and unconventional white wines from the Edna Valley.
Grüner Veltliner, a rare varietal in the United States, is a unique food friendly white originating from Austria. Growing it here in the Edna Valley was a gamble, but the coastal soils have cultivated a beautiful and dynamic Grüner that has been turning heads since our first vintage in 2009. It has won awards all over the world and continues to showcase just how special of a place the Edna Valley is to grow Grüner.Purchase
Though Riesling is not quite as rare in the U.S., it's made at so many different sugar levels that it’s difficult for consumers to pin down. Zocker strives to create an unconventional barely off-dry style that balances between minerality and acid. It's a great wine with many foods, especially those with a little spice.Purchase
Our Small Batch wines are all based on our core varietals, Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, but our winemaker has created something a little extra special with these wines.
Bright and fresh, this light to medium bodied expression of Grüner Veltliner is filled with flavors of grapefruit, lime zest, wet stone, floral notes and a hint of white pepper. The concrete egg fermentation creates a wine that is full and expressive with a beautifully rich mouth feel. The citrus and floral flavors are balanced perfectly with the increased minerality to create a deliciously lush but refreshing wine.
